June marked the beginning of summer vacation for Jatin and Aanika! Aanika said farewell to elementary school and took the sweetest picture with her buddy Liam! Jatin hosted his band friends over for a kickback to officially celebrate summer! Nick and I took the kids for a hike on Fathers Day morning and did some plant hunting at a local nursery! We enjoyed a beautiful day off at at The Grove and totally loved the amazing farmers market! Aanika got back on her horse after recovering from her broken arm. All in all some very special memories shared in the early part of June.

The pool is officially open! It’s been hot, but not awful so it’s been a pleasant summer season. Aanika didn’t like ymca camp so we pulled her out and she’s so happy at home! Swimming several times a day and since smartie pants figured out how to open the lock we have removed the fencing finally!! Aanika had some lovely play dates with Sophie. And Jatin is officially as into working out and gyming it as his mama is! He’s also starting to look more and more like me 🙂 Aanika had her first visit to the Daiso store and bought balls and spicy noodles! She loves noodles! And Billy and Brownie have been enjoying the sun just as much as we have!
