Las Vegas Girls Trip 2026

2.5 days in Vegas filled with dancing, amazing food, nonstop laughs, and one unforgettable night at the Sphere watching No Doubt. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan, ate our way through Gymkhana, LAVO, and Momofuku, and somehow still ended up at Secret Pizza two nights in a row. Add in hidden speakeasies, way too many selfies, and the perfect amount of Vegas chaos — and it turned into one of those trips we’ll be talking about forever. read more

Pismo Getaway 2026

Nick and I managed a quick weekend getaway to Pismo Beach, San Louis Obispo with a stops in Santa Barbara & Solvang. It was a lovely, chill, relaxing weekend with cliff seaside views, beautiful dinners, some champagne cake at the Madonna Inn, Cookies at Solvang, Yummy Matcha & Drinks in Malibu and and evening of cocktails and pizza at Giuseppe’s. Can’t wait to do it again!

Santa Barbara Stop – We had matchas, coffee and something called a Higgey Bun!

22nd Wedding Anniversary – Rancho Mirage

Nick and I enjoyed a quick getaway to Rancho Mirage at the Westin Golf Resort. Celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary with a lot of rest and relaxation, sunshine, and watching the beautiful view from our room, the ducks, water, golfers and more. We attended the Glowfest Evening at the Palm Desert Zoo the evening of our anniversary followed by In-N-Out and milkshakes in the car while charging *just like old times 🙂 The zoo had the most beautiful Giraffes I’ve ever seen and so close up! They also had a beautiful light display of the Chinese Zodiac Signs. The descriptions are pretty spot on. Happy Anniversary to Us! Cheer’s to many many more! read more

Las Vegas 2024

Enjoyed a much needed few days away in Las Vegas. Cosmopolitan, Bootleggers Bistro, Bellagio Fountain Views, Lot’s of relaxing, a little bit of pickle ball and a mind reader show. Can’t wait until we go back.

Palm Desert Girls Trip

To celebrate Neeru’s 40th Birthday this year; Mommy treated Neera and I to the desert for a few days! It was fabulous. Great food, Hindi movies, poolside hangouts and shopping….a perfect weekend. We watched “Aisha” the Indian Clueless while pampering ourselves to a very silly but funny spa evening 🙂 We stayed at the beautiful Marriot Desert Spring Villas. Thanks for a lovely weekend Mommy. I loved every minute.

Main Event 2023

Nick made the main event hosted in Dana Point California this year. It was so relaxed just being able to drive there rather than fight airport lines and crowds. We started off by having lunch at the Coastal Kitchen just down the street from the resort.

Next we checked into the hotel and got our gifts. Sunglasses 🕶️ Hats 👒 flip flops 🩴 and 🏖️ bags. Once we rested a bit it was time to go to the first evenings garden dinner on the hotel grounds. We met up with Tom – Best Bud, Rajiv – COO, and Nicks team Randy and Farrah and her husband Josh. read more

20th Wedding Anniversary 2023

Nick and I celebrated 20 years married this year! Thank goodness Aanika was feeling well enough that we were able to get away to Vegas for a few days to celebrate together. We stayed at our favorite wrap around suite at the Cosmopolitan with Bellagio Fountain views.

We enjoyed cocktails at the beautiful Parasol Bar at Wynn followed by dinner at Casa Playa. The decorations and lit trees in Wynn were so beautiful that I told Nick that we can make that the theme of our backyard someday when Jatin gets married 🙂 read more

April 2022 Part 1

Well to start we have some big news! We officially launched AniVani.com on March 28, 2022! We’re so excited and look forward to seeing it grow!!!

Neera, Nikki, Naya and Naveen spent their spring break in LA and we also got to meet up with Ayesha and Tricia while they were visiting after filming in Mexico!

We took the kids and doggies to Oxnard for 2 days for their Spring Break. We rented a beautiful 3 bedroom home right on the beach. Aanika and Jatin had their suite and rooms downstairs with the pingpong table. Out master bedroom, beach views, kitchen, living room and balcony were upstairs. We brought food in each evening and spent the day out. Billy and Brownie were able to come with us as well. Mommy and Daddy joined us for a quick pizza lunch at toppers and ice cream back at the place. Both nights we watched stand up comedy. Seinfeld one night and Sebastian Maniscalco the other. We also took the kids to Golf and Stuff and Seabridge for coffees, park time and a walk along the marina. My favorite part of the trip was when Jatin and Aanika hung out at home while Nick and I snuck off for a 40 minute walk between the side alleys of the beach homes. They are so cutely done up and the walks are romantic. Can’t wait to go back. Spring Break 2022 was a success! read more

Vegas April 2021!

Yessss finally we have our vaccines and my beautiful mom and dad watched our bachas and Nick and I got to get away from home for the first time in over a year! We had a STUNNING corner balcony suite at the cosmopolitan so we enjoyed the room as much as being out and about again. We binge watched Bridgerton on Netflix and enjoyed the beautiful strip views from all angles.

And on our way back home. So amazing to get away for a few days so we could miss our gorgeous home and family and rest up and refresh! ❤️❤️

January-February 2020

It’s been a busy up and down first quarter of 2020. Below are some highlights. Brody got a new puppy Ralphie! Aanika found her new favorite Uncle Shekky. Nick busted out his turn tables again. Jatin got braces. Aanika loves Rosario and Reiki. Vikram joined the design spinners team. We lost Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. I hosted a cocktail mixing party for the girls. Mommy treated nick and I to a sting show the last ship. Nick painted a heart canvas for me. I baked a heart cake. We really got into the Oscar’s, even Jatin! Brownie turned 3. We went to Palm Springs for a car auction and enjoyed the beautiful mid mod vibes. Little miss Aanika is as lovely as ever adding a bright light to all our days.
