Nick and I celebrated 20 years married this year! Thank goodness Aanika was feeling well enough that we were able to get away to Vegas for a few days to celebrate together. We stayed at our favorite wrap around suite at the Cosmopolitan with Bellagio Fountain views.

We enjoyed cocktails at the beautiful Parasol Bar at Wynn followed by dinner at Casa Playa. The decorations and lit trees in Wynn were so beautiful that I told Nick that we can make that the theme of our backyard someday when Jatin gets married 🙂

The next morning we had brunch at Mon Abi Gabi at Paris. Good ambience but food was okay. After that we walked the strip a bit before heading out to the Neon Museum. It was cold but awesome!

The evening of the 27th we took a drive off the strip to a local italian restaurant Nick had heard of called Bootlegger Bistro. Everything about this place was fabulous. Old vintage vibes, red leather booths, live jazz musicians playing piano hits and amazing food. This quickly became a place we will go every time we’re in Vegas.

The morning of our anniversary we made brunch reservations at Jardin in Encore because I had seen it 2 days earlier and it was so gorgeous so we had to check it out. We sat poolside and our first dance song happened to come on. It was perfect. We jumped in a car afterwards and had drinks at a local barcade that Nick wanted to check out.

That evening we enjoyed a fancy schmancy dinner at Maestro’s Ocean Club at the Aria. Love you forever.
