Nick and I attended our second Grinkfest this year. What a blast! First off, somehow the air is crisper and cleaner in Idaho, so we felt energized right away! We landed in Boise on my birthday and headed straight to Downtown and had a lovely lunch at the FORK restaurant. Second, people are so extra sweet, kind and genuinely nice to speak with there. Everyone you see offers you a warm hello, a friendly smile and actually look up from their phones when they are walking around town! Pretty refreshing and a bit shocking coming from LA. After lunch on day one we ended up on a beautiful walk along the greenbelt where everyone seemed to be out and about enjoying life, taking strolls, walking and biking with the family, gardening etc… A welcome change of pace and a beautiful scene with every color tree imaginable. You’ll see my favorite neon yellow tree captured below. After our first day we entered the familiar land of Grinkers! This year was awesome because we knew many more people. Nick entered and placed in both tournaments and got so serious about it that he busted out his “gaming gloves!” (pictured below). All in all the trip was lovely! Looking forward to Grinkfest 6!
