Jatin’s big 1st grade project was to research and present a report about the Crested Porcupine from Africa. He did a wonderful job in his speaking presentation as well as showcasing an artistic representation of the animal. We used toothpicks, matches, and Styrofoam to put together his awesome animal! He got lot’s of ooohhs and ahhhhs during his presentation and was the only kid to conclude his presentation with a few porcupine related jokes! He also danced the African “PataPata” on back to school night with a gorgeous head mask that he decorated himself. Click to see his report write-up.
