Halloween this year was an extended celebration of ghouls, pumpkins and candy! We kick started the weekend before Halloween by carving and painting our pumpkins. After a lot of brainstorming Jatin and I decided to build a Smurfs Village out of pumpkins. Well as you can see below it turned out FABULOUS! We setup the finished village and Jatin added the finishing touch by very strategically placing his smurfs in their new village.

Nick and I went to a lovely Halloween Party where he took on the ghost of Rick James. Hair to Toe he WAS the singer of Superfreak! From dancing in the graveyard to posing all night with the ladies we had an awesome night! I was “Superfreak” the rockstar as his side kick!

Jatin attended the Halloween parade at school the morning of Halloween and spent the entire day of class performing an investigation on the in’s an out’s of pumpkins!

On the evening of Halloween we invited Fianna and Jonas’s family to trick o treat with us. The kids were so hyper just being together you would have thought they had already eaten a bucket of candy! We walked the neighborhood and were definitely the loudest of the bunch. The inseparable crew included; Jatin (PeterPan) and Aanika (Tinkerbell) and Joseph & Kenny (Spidermen), Fianna (Little Witch) and a Jonas (Skylander). It was a magical, spooky evening sure to become a tradition for many years to come! Happy Halloween!
