We had a few shindigs to celebrate the season this year. The first one was Nicks company party hosted at a Mexican restaurant in Filmore. There were margaritas, speeches and karaoke!!

Next we hosted our annual Celtic court neighborhood potluck holiday dinner. This year we felt safe enough to host indoors rather than be in the freezing cold! Trader Joe’s eggnog was served, tax guy contacts were exchanged, home renovations were discussed, homemade teriyaki sauce was gifted, secret brittle was packaged, video games were played and all in all a merry time was had!

The last holiday celebration before Christmas was on the Wednesday before Christmas night. I hosted our annual gingerbread decorating party with Geeta, Devi, Shriya, Jatin, Pinki, Sejal, Ishaan, Aanika and Mark! We decorated the pre built homes Jatin and I constructed the day before and dances up a storm! Nick also had an eventful evening with his childhood friends Bob and crew over steak and drinks at a country club! That evening after cleanup was done, Jatin and I watched the end of Princess Mononoke and the Christmas Story Sequel that came out this year accompanied by desserts and hot chocolate. A perfect footnote to a beautiful month of celebrating!
