Fall 2025

There’s always a variety of fun stuff going on (memories being made) that aren’t necessarily attached to a special occasion. Below are some memories I would like persevered from Fall 2025. We’re getting used to Jatin living at UC Irvine, and enjoying our time with him on weekends when he comes home and our precious Facetime Video Calls. Daddy was inspired by the lighting job Nick did on our house so they have started to install lighting throughout Mom & Dad’s home as well. Mommy and Daddy hosted Diwali Dinner. Aanika was very excited to see the holiday decorations come out before Thanksgiving! I’m continuing to play with all the fun stuff Ai has to offer (you’ll see a vintage Bollywood poster of Nick and I down below). Jatin’s Nana & Nani came to his dorm and treated him to a lovely meal out in Newport. Reunited with Jwalin & Sonal from Cardservice Intl, and we ran into the Stovall family after so many years at the movie theater! And, I started to rock the beautiful Slytherin purse Neeru gifted to me. All in all a lovely, blessed Fall. Continuing to have lunch and coffee dates with girlfriends (Wanda and Aiysha) this month 🙂 We also discovered old Town Newhall. read more

Jatin’s Going to College

Well after all the months of anticipation, hard decisions, shopping, researching, planning the weekend finally came where we moved Jatin into UCI. He chose a Sunday move in so he could have his weekend with the family. Since he’s the Toy Story generation I have always known I would save his childhood toys and re-create the going away to college scene as the toys watch him leave. He was a good sport and took some adorable pictures with Aanika as they played with their toy collections and then I got the awesome shot of his toys saying goodbye. It was perfect. read more

Jatins High School Graduation Party

Since Jatins actual graduation ceremony fell on a Monday we decided to host a family graduation dinner celebration at our home the Saturday evening before. There were about 40 of us in attendance. We had stone fire cater the evening, said a few words and debuted Jatins 4 part band movement he conducted at the spring convert this year. A lovely, low key evening to celebrate the graduate. I got to make memory tables showing off all his accolades, and some cute posters to commemorate the day. 🎓

Jatin’s Senior Awards Night

Jatin was amongst those in his senior class who were invited to a special Senior Awards Night the Friday before graduation. Parent’s don’t know what the kids are being honored for. It was a garden evening event at Chatsworth High in the quad. Jatin and his friends were honored several times for everything from academics, clubs, AP scores, perfect GPAs and Valedictorians. Jatin finished 5th in his overall ranking and was surrounded before and after by all his best friends which made it extra special. He was also given the highest honors by Mr. Choi the Band Director. The kids took all kinds of photos during and after the ceremony and took an adorable photo with them all sitting at their lunch hangout spot. Jatin’s best friends gifted him an Anteater to congratulate him on his next move to UC Irvine. Hard to imagine they are graduating in a few days. read more

Jatin’s Senior Prom

Jatin attended 2 senior proms. The first one was Taft’s prom. He created a lovely promposal experience for Natalia and they attended her prom together at the Santa Anita Race Track. 2 weeks later we hosted Jatin’s closest friends and parents for a Prom Send Off Party at our place. Jatin’s prom was at The Skirball Center. The kids were beautifully dressed. We had setup a few different photo ops for them with the classic gold and black prom backdrop and then some beautiful photos outside in our yard. I also purchased these huge silver orbs which ended up being a really cute prop for selfies for the kids. We served cider and a bunch of fancy small bites. The era of tuxes and short dresses have passed…these kids were all dressed sharply in suits and gowns. read more

Mother’s Day 2024

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Mama! We celebrated with the family with brunch at Gus’s BBQ. The best part was just a few days afterwards we headed to Portland together for Arjun & Aayami’s Wedding. That was a lovely way to celebrate Mother’s Day together. Love you mommy. You are my inspiration, my strength and best friend. You’re an amazing role model and I am so lucky to have you right down the road. Happy Mother’s Day.

Manita and Teo’s Wedding

First wedding of the year! Manita and Teo had a beautiful wedding her in LA. In true Indian fashion it was a week long event starting on Sunday with the Bridal Shower, followed by the Mehendi, Sangeet, then a morning Sikh Wedding in Porter Valley Country Club followed by an intimate evening garden ceremony and then a lovely wedding reception the following Saturday. Ton’s of parties, celebrations, dancing and food to celebrate the lovely couple.

Main Event – Ft. Lauderdale 2024

Nick won his 9th Main Event with One Main in 2023. To celebrate the company sent us to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a 3 day event to honor the 200 employees out of 9,000 who made the cut! We stayed at the HardRock Guitar Hotel. It was absolutely lovely and as usual we extended our stay by an extra day to make the most of the trip!

We arrived a day ahead of schedule but most of Saturday was spent traveling. On Sunday we enjoyed a lovely brunch at RISE *excellent Orange Juice, followed by registration and then a relaxing afternoon by the pool sipping Pina Coladas. That evening we freshened up and headed to the welcome reception garden party hosted poolside at the hotel. 2 of Nick’s managers made the trip as well (Brenda & Ish, Randy & Theresa) read more
