Jatin’s 5th Grade Graduation

Jatin’s 5th Grade year end events and culmination were hectic and beautiful. The whole committee did a fabulous job using the funds we earned throughout the year to really treat the kids to a memorable and special occasion as they leave elementary school. We hosted a 5th Grade picnic for them full of games, dance party, tacos, shaved ice and more. Mommy and Daddy joined us for the graduation ceremony. The kiddos sang songs and were awarded presidential pins ahead of time. Our Jatin was awarded the silver presidential academic pin!! Super excited, happy and proud of our baby. After the ceremony we went to Corner Bakery Cafe for some breakfast where Jatin looked like a 30 year old man drinking coffee!! Then we treated him to the movie “Solo” instead of going back to school! A perfect send off into middle school. He’s going to be a rockstar in anything he does. Proud of you beautiful Jatin! read more

School Multicultural Spring Performance 2018

It’s that time of year again! Lot’s of year end shows and award ceremonies to attend. Jatin and Aanika both performed in the Multicultural Spring Performance. Aanika wasn’t as enthused to perform so I got a cute picture of her in her classroom before the show began. Jatin of course was a total ham and loved shining for everyone! Here we go Cotton Eyed Joe!

Jatin’s Spring Chorus Concert

Just attended the final performance for Chorus this year. They performed 4 songs many of which we’ve seen performed before. My favorite is Man in The Mirror! I was excited to get a close up this time since the time they performed it in LA it was from so far away!! His teacher Mrs. Marshall is awesome. We’re going to miss her.

Jatin’s 5th Grade Chorus Performance

Jatin has been part of Germain’s chorus for 2 years now and they were excited to be invited to Chatsworth High School to perform at their Carnival of Knowledge. Him and his team mates performed 2 songs and were awesome! Later we found out that Aanika’s teacher Ms. Amber Schwindler was the mascot 🙂 Kartik and Zita joined us for the performance and we had the pleasure of listening to Model UN students and their speeches as well!! (not that exciting…but had to save the memory!)

Jatin’s 5th Grade Open House + Aanika’s Kindergarten Open House

Aanika and Jatin had their Open House for Kinder and 5th grade.
Some of my favorite moments captured below.

Jatin walked me through his room and him and his team displayed that the bridge they built out of popsicle sticks and tape could hold the weight of over 4 textbooks!

Jatin and David

Jatin and Mrs. Martin.

Jatin also received and Academic Achievment Award for all subjects this year! Way to go kiddo! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!
