Neeru, Nikki, Naya and Naveen have come to visit! We are seeing them distantly to be safe but we’re lucky to host Naveen’s 4th Birthday here in LA! Some cute memories of the visit below.

Thanksgiving Day 2019 + Billy’s 2nd Birthday
Had a very relaxed Thanksgiving Thursday. Mommy and Daddy joined us for spicy chicken soup lunch and in the evening the 4 of us had chicken pot pies followed by the premier of The Mandalorian by fire on Disney plus. It was also Billy’s 2nd birthday. Since In n out is closed on thanksgiving we treated him and brownie to birthday burgers and fries the next day! Nick also got in some great time with his latest pixel painting.
Vani’s 40th Birthday
I’ve been celebrating my 40th all month long! The actual day fell on the Friday we were traveling in Idaho and there were wild fires back home so that was a crazy weekend! After that I was greeted home with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers designed by mommy of course and balloons! Then Nick brought home my favorite carrot cake from Stone Fire Grill. Later in the month Geeta, Devi and Shriya treated me to a lovely dinner at Cheesecake Factory and then we closed our the celebrations with a beautiful intimate dinner with mommy and daddy at firefly in studio city! I’m a lucky girl. Feeling very special and blessed. Here’s to 40 and the next 40 being even better than the first!! Cheers!
Jatin’s 12th Birthday
Jatin darling turned 12 this year! One more year til his teenage years hit! Thank goodness for his amazing, sweet, easy going temperament. Love him so much. As usual be requested a birthday party at home with two requirements: chocolate chocolate cake and an arcade tournament! The morning of his birthday we had the family over for breakfast before heading to Maya’s wedding and the following weekend we hosted his party.

Aanika’s 8th Birthday
Aanika turned 8 this year! And it happened to fall on a Jewish holiday so the kids had no school! Mommy hung out with the babies in the morning and then I joined them in the afternoon. We went to the park where Jatin got stung by a bee, Aanika enjoyed the swings and slide and I felt like my 8 year old self by hanging upside down from the bars! We picked up a delicious ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins and decorated it with hand painted dolls I bought on Etsy for Aanikas collection. Neeru gifted Aanika the beautiful Snow White doll she wanted. Her Nani and Nana spoiled her gorgeous winter jackets, clothes, a princess Anna doll and lots of nail polishes and lip glosses! We cut cake and enjoyed pizza from Amecis in the evening. All in all a fun, easy going Birthday for our beautiful baby girl.
CAX 2019 + Nicks 42nd Birthday
Started our trip in Santa Maria and San Louis Obispo so Nick could make a few branch visits. Went to Nicks favorite park and had breakfast at the black bear diner before heading to San Jose.
We had 3 days in the Bay Area area and celebrated Neera and Nikki’s 10th wedding anniversary followed by Nicks 42nd Birthday and attended California Extreme 2019 at the Santa Clara Hyatt.
Jatin’s 11th Birthday!
Happy 11th Birthday Jatin!! My goodness time does fly. You are such a bright, accomplished, intelligent, funny kid and we love everything about you!! The stars aligned this birthday. Even though you had to go to school they “shut down” early for your birthday!! You got to enjoy a movie and habit lunch with your buddy Andrew (Watched Venom). Daddy is probably the coolest dad ever because he surprised you with SINISTAR – a game that we know you LOVE. We were spoiled by your lovely Nana and Nani with Dinner at CPK and let’s not forget that Daddy also surprised both of us with the amazing limited addition HARRY POTTER LEGO SET!
Grinkers 2018 + Vani’s 39th Birthday
Well Grinkfest 6 came and went so quickly again this year. We started our adventurers in Boise with a trip to BACON for brunch followed by a bike ride along the greenbelt. Later that evening we headed to the hotel and then off to Grinkers kick off day.

Nick Surprised Steve and I with a custom game themed birthday cake! Custom tetris blocks were created with the joystick in honor of my favorite game!!
The main tournament ran for 3 days and was crazy, busy, fun and hectic. Some highlight shots below and yes Nick placed 6th!! Pretty awesome.
Aanika’s 7th Birthday!
Our beautiful baby girl Aanika turned 7 years old today. We had a low key birthday focused just on what we thought she would enjoy. Park in the morning followed by burgers at her request for lunch. Then a trip to the grocery store to buy the ingredients for her home made birthday cake followed by a shopping spree at the dollar tree where she bought whatever toys and balloons she wanted. Happy Birthday my beautiful baby girl! May all your dreams come true.
Daddy’s 75th Birthday in Escondido
The Krishnan and Sodhi crew got together and rented a home in Escondido California this year to celebrate Daddy’s 75th Birthday. We had a lovely birthday lunch at Hacienda de Vega in Carlsbad and Daddy got a lovely surprise from the Maniktalas and Mathurs joining the festivities!
The rest of the trip was spend sunning and splashing around in the pool, visiting the beach (dog friendly and not dog friendly, eating out at the habit), and hanging out with the family surrounded by the beautiful mountain views.
