Gundara Pixel Disney family

If we were animated as a Disney / Pixar family here is how we might look! Aanikas face is already designed like a beautiful princess so these look pretty spot on! Courtesy voila al artist app!!

Swim Season 2021

Swim season has official began! It was 91 degrees out today but we still heated the pool lol! Got the kids all suited up and the four of us went for the first official Gundara swim of 2021!

The kids have worked hard this school year and they’ve only got 1 more week before they are out on summer vacation. Jatin said he wants to work on his secret project, hang with friends, watch movies, play piano and learn about stocks! Aanika already knows the secret to life and lives her best life everyday! Nick and I have been working harder than ever but that’s the phase of life we’re in and grateful to have each other to rely on and support during the craziness and fun! Can’t wait for summer. We could all use some sunshine and relaxation! read more

May 2021

The kids are winding down their school year. Nicks work and my business has been slammed but good. Been going to Zumba again! Celebrated Mother’s Day, Daddy’s Birthday and Jatin started going to school for Band rehearsal again!

Mommy and I had a lovely shopping morning to celebrate Mother’s Day on Saturday and then Nick, Jatin and Aanika spoiled me all day Sunday with flowers, cards, bougie snacks and new scooters for the backyard!

Aanika and I planted some new life for the garden and Nick rocked his sombrero that he won from a video game challenge! read more

Vegas April 2021!

Yessss finally we have our vaccines and my beautiful mom and dad watched our bachas and Nick and I got to get away from home for the first time in over a year! We had a STUNNING corner balcony suite at the cosmopolitan so we enjoyed the room as much as being out and about again. We binge watched Bridgerton on Netflix and enjoyed the beautiful strip views from all angles.

Spotted my initials so had to take a picture!

There’s that gorgeous view!

Feeling relaxed at last!

Had to get a little dolled up at least one day 🙂

LOVED this sign at the Venetian.

My pizza delivery guy was very cute. Decided to invite him in for dinner and milk shakes 🙂

And on our way back home. So amazing to get away for a few days so we could miss our gorgeous home and family and rest up and refresh! ❤️❤️

The Adventures of Aanika!

Aanika loves to go on walks with Candy and Amanda. She loves to climb the Chatsworth rocks, sits and enjoy natures, visits the horses along the bike path and even hops the train tracks on occasion.

February & March 2021

Life has been busy and fun in the Gundara house. Working from home and schooling from home is normal now as it’s been going on for almost a year! The grown ups have been vaccinated – YEAH!! The kids are still growing like weeds!

Aanikas been enjoying time with her big brother and still insists on taking him for rides in her Cadillac that he can barely fit into! But being the great brother he is, Jatin goes along with it.

The boys have been playing basketball again now that the weather is beautiful.

Aanika is looking cuter with each day and has a whole new wardrobe. She grew out of all her old wardrobe.

Nick gave Daddy a beard trim and hair cut in the garage. Daddy really wanted to keep his giant beard lol! He looked fresh afterwards.

We’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden. The weather has been gorgeous.

Jatin had laughing gas during his tooth exposure surgery and was convinced that it had all worn off by the time he got to the car but here a a few funny pictures of him talking to his dad right after. He was hilarious!!

A few more fun pictures to close up the month.

And to wrap up, Nick and I are celebrating 18 years married this month! We celebrated over lunch at city walk after he got his second vaccine that Friday.

And I finally got a haircut after a year and a half yeah!!!!

Happy 18th wedding anniversary! Stayed in for the weekend … Nick was recovering from his second vaccine. Ordered Maria’s for the evening and enjoyed the beautiful warm Southern California weather and backyard.

January 2021

Well we’re officially 1 month out from 2020 and it’s been a very busy start to the new year. Not just personally but there have been many newsworthy events as well. We went from Trump to Biden. And just days before that there was an attack on the capitol building. The stock market has been crazy. #gamestop and crypto currency is on fire. We’ve been home the entire month. Kids are back in school, vacation days are done and we’re back to our usual busy-working from home life.

Nick and I have been going for daily walks and enjoying some one on one time while the kids are being virtual schooled.

The neighborhood kids got to see each other for Dre’s birthday party.

Jatin had to take a yearbook photo from home!

Aanika got a haircut by her favorite stylist Doodis and is of course looking even more naughty than usual.

The kids have been enjoying their hangout time with nick. Playing games, riding scooters and going for walks.

I am attempting to not wear sweatpants everyday!

It’s been colder so we’ve been loving lighting our fireplace while playing games, listening to music and watching tv.

Jatin has continued his quest for fitness and has been using the outdoor gym more.

We got the first month delivery of the pizza service and coke box that I gifted nick for Christmas. The retro Coke can was great, the rest was a bit of a bust but still fun to get something new in the mail!

And our darling fur babies are as happy as ever that we’re still all home all the time lol!

Jatin might have to get a tooth opened up. Looking very serious and very grown up here. We think he’ll be getting his braces off by the end of the year. That went quickly!

Nick has been loving taking the Ferrari out!

The boys have started playing old school consoles in Nicks office. Reminds me of playing my NES as a kid in Bell Canyon.

I started a new sketch based on beautiful cocktails.

We rang in the New Year simply and quietly just like most of the world. Let 2021 bring happiness, good health, peace, love and prosperity to all.

Christmas 2020

We had a quiet but festive Christmas this year. We started our morning by playing with some very special cars and watching holiday movies starting at 6am … yup 6 (thanks Aanika 🙂 Then we had a socially distant hangout with Nana and Nani.

In the early afternoon we decorated mini gingerbread houses as a family. (First time for Nick) I have a feeling he enjoyed it and may join the kids and I in future years to come! Aanika decorated with icing and ate all the candy.

After lunch the kids and I finished home alone 2 upstairs while nick got a small siesta downstairs. Around 5 we changed into our Christmas Eve outfits and in Gundara tradition; had a family photo session followed by gift giving. We ordered Indian food and hung out by the fire place before falling asleep on the couch… It’s 2020 after all.

Merry Christmas to all families tonight. It was quiet but perfect. At home, with our favorite people. ❤️

December 2020

Well the kids are officially on 3 weeks of winter break and nick and I are taking some time off as well. The weather has been beautiful so we’re exploring the local hiking trails more and as always playing games and eating delicious food and watching movies.

Mommy took a spin in the Ferrari with Nick and posed for some cute pictures! Maybe next time she’ll drive it too!

Aanika and I have been coloring in our festive room and she’s been enjoying watching tv and relaxing a bit more with the whole family which is a nice change.

Scrabble is officially our favorite game right now even though Jatin is getting a bit tired of it. We’ve also introduced chess into the mix after being reinspired by the Queens Gambit.

Aanika has been enjoying washing the car with Nick! Of course anything with water is always fun!

And we’re getting ready for a quiet but festive Christmas! Driving to see holiday lights, wearing festive ugly Christmas sweaters, watching the Mandalorian and lighting the fire. Love this family.

Billy’s 3rd Birthday

Darling Billy turned 3 Thanksgiving weekend! Both him and Brownie got baths that morning to celebrate! They came back fluffy and full of smiles.

We also took Aanika to ET park for some fresh air and sunshine. We have now officially entered another quarantine period. Covid cases have risen pretty high in LA county so right after we visited the park it became official that parks, outdoor dining, outdoor gyms and bars will all official be closed. Thank goodness for my crazy, lovely family who keep fun in our lives given everything 2020 has brought.

The house is looking festive as the holidays approach! Took this during our family game night.
