Shriya’s Tea Party Bridal Shower

Neera and I hosted Shriya darlings bridal shower at my place this weekend *yes one weekend after moving Jatin to UCI! It was a good distraction. The theme was whimsical, garden tea party. Bright, colorful, and a little over the top! Shriya’s favorite color is blue so we encouraged guests to wear blues and florals for the event. We gave each guest a silk rose *in their tea cup to wear in the hair or clothing. Indian tea, heavy snacks, cakes and fruit were served. Devi was in charge of the games, Mommy made her delicious tea sandwiches and Geeta and the girls helped with all the setup in the morning. It turned out spectacular. Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald tunes filled the air while chai and champagne was sipped. Can’t wait for the wedding! read more

Manita and Teo’s Wedding

First wedding of the year! Manita and Teo had a beautiful wedding her in LA. In true Indian fashion it was a week long event starting on Sunday with the Bridal Shower, followed by the Mehendi, Sangeet, then a morning Sikh Wedding in Porter Valley Country Club followed by an intimate evening garden ceremony and then a lovely wedding reception the following Saturday. Ton’s of parties, celebrations, dancing and food to celebrate the lovely couple.

Puneet’s Wedding To Dominic 2023

We had an amazing week right after Christmas celebrating the wedding of Puneet to Dominic. Lot’s of dancing, partying, dressing up and catching up with family. Highlights below starting with the Sangeet.

Jatin got to spend half the week at his Dadiji’s house and embarked in all kinds of Shenanigans with Aakash, Kirat and Kadam who were visiting from England for the wedding! The craziest thing was them jumping into a freezing cold pool in the middle of winter!! TEENAGERS!! We also hosted the family over for a hangout, casual dinner. Amrita and I took Kirat and Aki for their first manicure and pedicures ever 🙂 Jatin performed one of his original pieces on piano for the family as our after dinner entertainment and the kids enjoyed the arcade. Aanika of course LOVED having the family and most of all her precious Amrita Bua over for a visit. read more

May 2023 – Weddings, Pickle-ball and More!

May was busy busy busy but fun! We had 2 full weekends celebrating Rishi and Lisa’s wedding with all the family! Mommy and daddy hosted the family on Friday night and we enjoyed celebrating Islas 4th birthday and then on Saturday we hosted the Krishnan’s for brunch at the before the evening party. We played pickleball after some mimosas and bagels 🙂 It was fun!!!

That evening we celebrated Lisa and Rishi’s upcoming wedding at Urth in Culver City hosted by Sheila Masi.

The following weekend Daddy, Mommy and I drove to Lake Arrowhead for the wedding ceremony. Neera and I danced the night away as usual and we celebrated Mother’s Day with mommy and daddy before heading home. read more
