Jatin’s Final HS Marching Band Season 2024

Jatin has had a fun but extremely busy fall semester. Between college applications, school work and marching band his schedule has been nuts but it was all worth it! Mommy *Nani joined me to watch and cheer him on for his final High School Marching Band Competition hosted by LAUSD Beyond the Bell at Pierce College. He did such a fantastic job conducting and his team took home 1st place in their division!

Jatin also participated in his holiday winter concert and the Chatsworth Holiday Parade! We are so proud of this 17 year old baby of ours. Now we just want him to rest up over Christmas break and get ready for an amazing second semester and some positive acceptances from all the universities he’s applying to! read more

Fall 2024

It hasn’t felt like fall given that we’ve had more 90 degree day’s than not….but we’re still in the middle of all the fun and chaos that comes with the season. The kids are in full swing at school. Jatin’s band competition circuit has begun and we attended his Senior Year Homecoming Game and he went to his Homecoming dance after a long day of competing at Hart Rampage. Aanika attended a competition in Simi Valley with me for the first time! She did great, and the shirts I designed for their Summer of Love theme turned out fantastic. Aanika also has started to love wearing makeup, so we’ve been playing with that, and getting her ready for her Halloween costume. I of course have been wearing my geeky Halloween themed sweaters and jackets. Got a Beetlejuice and Mickey jacket this year! Jatin got his permit!! Who hooo! May 2023 – Jatin is Drum Major

Jatin had his end of year band banquet that was Tropical themed this year. He looked lovely and officially enters the role of Drum Major! I also attend the local carnival concert where the whole band performed a 30 minute set. We’re so proud of him!!
