Visit to Neera Masi and Nikki Uncles House

We took a three day weekend, packed up the van and the kids and embarked on a quick 2 day trip to visit Neera & Nikki! We managed to pack a lot into those 2 days. The kids did pretty good overall with the long car ride. Jatin was thrilled to have the back of the van entirely to himself and the “baby bassinet!” He was content with his awesome headphones and watching duck tales. Aanika did great too! She got her feet massaged by her dad the entire trip and got in a lovely nap. Total Trip Time – 9am – 4:30pm. Nikki met us at home once we arrived at Palo Alto. The guys were thrilled that we could walk to Fry’s to kill some time before Neera came home from work. We met Neeru at home around 6, had some tea and after many hugs and kisses we decided to go to a pizza place for dinner. The kids were hyper, naughty and messy (but hey…that’s life with kids!) 🙂 The kids were spoiled by their Masi & Uncle with toys, coloring books and an awesome book about fed up crayons! The highlight was seeing Aanika interact with her new “Lady Dog” from Lady and the Tramp. She hugged, kissed and had a 2 hour dialogue with her entirely made up of the word “no.”! read more

Disney Cruise 2012

THE START OF OUR TRIP

We had a very MAGICAL trip on our first Disney Cruise up the Coast of California. The cruise left from Long Beach Harbor and we spent 7 days traveling up and down the Pacific Coast. We went to San Francisco, San Diego and Ensenada over the course of the trip with a few sea days in between.

The trip started with us packing up our car full of luggage and strollers ready for our fantastic Gundara Adventure! Amit was in town – so we got this lovely family photo before we left for our voyage! read more

Nick’s 35th Birthday – Oxnard CA

We took the family to Oxnard for a few days to celebrate Nick’s 35th birthday! Stayed at the Embassy Suites on the beach and loved every moment. We took Aanika to the beach for the first time, and Jatin wanted to go back to see the fish house that has the crabs and lobsters in the tanks. He screamed but is already asking us to take him back! Enjoyed the pool, and the gorgeous weather. We also went to golf and stuff. Nick and Jatin enjoyed Indy Car racing and arcade games while Aanika enjoyed riding on Dino and hanging out. Summer Time Fun

We had a lovely day today. A true fun-filled summer day off 🙂 Nana and Nani came to visit for a bbq and playtime with the kiddos. Later we took Aanika into the pool for the first time! She wasn’t quite sure initially but loved it about 5 minutes in. Then we finished a lovely day by taking Jatin to see Spider-man in the theaters! He’s always seen the cartoons but never seen the live action films before. He was a trooper – even with the scary lizard he stuck through and enjoyed every moment! read more

Peterson Auto Museum

We took the kids to Peterson Auto Museum for the first time over the holidays. We knew Jatin would enjoy himself seeing all the hollywood movie cars and whatever special exhibits they had on display. Little did we know just how perfect the exhibits would be for our car loving son. The 2 exhibits on special display were Disney’s Cars featuring every single car character made to date set in elaborate cities as well as Hot Wheels! He was in heaven! It took us an hour to get him out of there once we entered those areas of the museum! When Jatin came home he worked with Nick on creating his own museum! Aanika rode around with me most of the adventure and slept for probably 70% of it.

Road Trip To Masi’s

We had a very adventurous weekend! Decided to take our first road trip with Aanika to see Neera Masi and Nikki Uncles new home 🙂 Here we are on University Avenue eating some yummy sliders!

Aanika is sleeping away in the Baby Bjorn while Mambu and Masi are getting some sister quality time together 🙂

Summer Fun 2011!

Jatin’s 1st Trip to DISNEYLAND!

Good Morning Everyone! It’s my very first trip to Disneyland! I am so excited to meet Mickey Mouse and all his friends!!!

The first ride I went on was It’s A Small World.

Daddy and I are in the boat getting ready to go.

It’s a Small World was okay…but I was ready to go on something more exciting! Here we are in line for Peter Pan! YEAH!!!

Ahhh..Goofy! Such a silly, funny guy. We hit it off really well!

Hi Everyone!! My Nani and Masi Nani and I are having dinner at a pizza place a few days before New Years! Aren’t they cutie pies!

On New Years Eve we all went to my Nana and Nani’s house to celebrate.

Florida 2010 – Cruising, Harry Potter World and More!

It’s vacation time! We went to HOT Orlando Florida for our summer break!
