Started the day off with our annual neighborhood parade and got cheered on by nana, Nani and Kiran Buaji! Swam in the afternoon and continued our summer marathon of Battlestar Galactica!

Daddy’s 75th Birthday in Escondido
The Krishnan and Sodhi crew got together and rented a home in Escondido California this year to celebrate Daddy’s 75th Birthday. We had a lovely birthday lunch at Hacienda de Vega in Carlsbad and Daddy got a lovely surprise from the Maniktalas and Mathurs joining the festivities!
The rest of the trip was spend sunning and splashing around in the pool, visiting the beach (dog friendly and not dog friendly, eating out at the habit), and hanging out with the family surrounded by the beautiful mountain views.
Wine Night July 2018
Hosted a lovely wine night for some of the local gals. It turned out to be a fun mix of mom’s and newly weds and a few singles. Everyone brought a bottle of what they like to drink and I supplied to food. Cooked some CrockPot Mac N Cheese and had the usual cheese platter and fruits. Can’t wait to do it again!
July 4th 2017
July 4th this year was quiet and perfect. We did not in particular and just enjoyed the house and relaxed in the pool. Before it got too hot the boys played a bit of basketball outside and then we hit the pool late afternoon for a few hours. We also finally got Nick to join the Pottermore site where he was sorted into the Gryffindor House. I am a Slytherin and Jatin is a Hufflepuff. Some day we’ll find out what our Aaniku is!
Kick off Summer 2017 Playdate
To celebrate the official first weekend of the kids Summer Break we invited some of their friends over for an afternoon playdate. The kids had a blast. Between freeze tag, ping pong, pizza in the garden and your every day dab showdown the afternoon was a success! Aanika and Gio (Eligh’s little brother played together while Mark, Eligh, Jatin and Jonas ran around the house!)
End of School Celebrations 2017
