Lakers Season 2017-2018

A few snapshots from our Laker Adventures this year. The biggest change is MAGIC is now the GM and since our seats are right at the Lakers Locker Room entrance we get to see him and say “Hi Magic” every time we’re there!! The most fun we’ve had this year was against the Celtics. I’ve actually never been to a Celtics game and let me tell you it’s the most FUN we’ve ever had at a sporting event. Staples Center was filled 50/50 with Celtic and Laker fans and and they are so animated and fun to watch with! Best was – WE WON!!! Let’s Go LAKERS. read more

Jatin & Aakash’s Thanksgiving Sleepover 2017

The boys have been wanting a sleepover for ages so we finally planned ahead. Made a giant pillow/chair fort, each with their own lanterns, baked cookies, lot’s of video games, staying up late and being too loud and watching Pokemon! All in all a great adventure for these 10 year old brothers. They are already planning to do it again next month over Christmas Break 🙂

Gundara “Glamping” 2017

So I’m not known for camping…never really did it growing up but have always loved the idea of “glamping!” So I decided to invest in a 4 person tent and I surprised the kiddos over summer with an indoor tent that basically took up their entire playroom! We hung out, tried to sleep in there, but it was so hot that we ended up back in our rooms…and there was a major valley blackout that same weekend, but it was fun for a bit! Think in the fall we’ll try and glamp outside in the backyard! read more

May Fun Times

There have been a lot of fun activities and just play time in the month of May. Rather than individually posting each photo I’ve put together a series of some of my favorites. You’ll see the kids playing outside in the yard, in the house, in the car, and just being silly! You’ll also see some of the snapshots from the Gundara District March of Dimes walk we participated in and our darling Devi got ready for her Senior Prom at our house. Looking Gorgeous!! Enjoy.

More Summer Fun

Below you’ll see some more snapshots of what we’ve been up to this summer. Jatin has been enjoying the company of his stuffed animals and requested that I take a picture of him hanging out with his buddies. You’ll also see what happens when the kids take over the camera and point it at themselves! Jatin and Neel have been enjoying each other’s company from the pool to the park to the bubble bath! Another highlight was introducing Jatin to my favorite movie – Back to the Future! It’s mind-blowing when a 5 year old asks you about “flux capacitors,” “plutonium” and the idea that “okay Mama – so if Marty goes back to 1955 he can change the alternate 1985?” WOW! read more

Disney Cruise 2012

leavingforthetrip

THE START OF OUR TRIP

We had a very MAGICAL trip on our first Disney Cruise up the Coast of California. The cruise left from Long Beach Harbor and we spent 7 days traveling up and down the Pacific Coast. We went to San Francisco, San Diego and Ensenada over the course of the trip with a few sea days in between.

The trip started with us packing up our car full of luggage and strollers ready for our fantastic Gundara Adventure! Amit was in town – so we got this lovely family photo before we left for our voyage! read more
