Our favorite family golden froggy got broken about a month ago while Aanika was playing with him on the court. We weren’t sure quite what to do as he has become part of our family over the years. Nick took it upon himself to figure out how to restore our precious but shattered golden frog. He found potters glue to painstakingly put back each piece. Once that was completed he filled in all the cracks with putty and finally added a finishing golden touch with a fresh paint job. Our golden frog is back watching over our beautiful home again. All is as it should be. #blessedfamily

Nana Nani Bonding At The Park
We had a lovely afternoon at the BC Park a few weeks ago! It was perfect for Aanika to explore her climbing skills and Jatin just loves to goof around! Some of my favorite snap shots from the afternoon included below.
July 4th + More
July just flew by. Summer fun, hot, hot, hot weather and swimming! Neera, Nikki & Naya visited and Naya took a liking to our giant teddy bear 🙂
May Fun!
May was a very busy and fun month. The kids were winding down with school activities, getting ready for summer. Jatin got his first bank account by cashing in all the money he saved over the years with his froggy bank. He also lost a record 3 teeth in 1 month! Aanika LOVES the camera and poses with her grinning CHEEEEESE any chance she gets!
Snow Day!
Nana and Nani invited the kiddos to join the Bell Canyon Snow Day this year. The funny part was – there was icy snow brought into the Canyon and it was 85 degrees out! So the kids enjoyed throwing some snowballs around in their t-shirts! They had a blast.
Holiday Hike 2014
We are blessed to live in such a nature rich environment that we have started introducing Jatin to the surrounding beauty of our neighborhood. The air was crisp, clean and the sun was shining. So rather than be cooped up at home this morning we decided to go exploring for a Holiday Hike / Run in our back yard. Jatin enjoyed it so much that he asked if we could do this every week. Let’s bring in the new year fit, happy and enjoying the sunshine.
Aanika’s First Trip To Disneyland!
We started a new tradition this year. Mecum auction comes to LA once a year in the fall, so the boys get their auction / car fix while we get our yearly Disneyland trip! This year it was extra special being Aanika’s first time to the Magic Kingdom. She absolutely loved meeting Goofey, Pluto, Mickey & Minnie and enjoyed the Dumbo ride. We also took her on Mr. Toads Wild Ride, Snow White and a few other fantasy land rides. While Aanika seemed to enjoy all the sites and sounds prior to going on the ride my darling “big boy Jatin” was extra scared of some of the “creepy sights and sounds!” 🙂 He was a trooper though and went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride with Nick in the evening. We watched a fantastic Holiday parade and watched a Shakespearean version of Beauty and The Beast. I took the kids for a little shopping trip in the evening where Aanika very quickly chose Pocahontas her latest “baby.” We had a lovely dinner outside on main street and headed back to our hotel just in time to watch the fireworks from our room. All in all a very successful trip to Disney!
