April 2022 Part 1

Well to start we have some big news! We officially launched AniVani.com on March 28, 2022! We’re so excited and look forward to seeing it grow!!!

Neera, Nikki, Naya and Naveen spent their spring break in LA and we also got to meet up with Ayesha and Tricia while they were visiting after filming in Mexico!

We took the kids and doggies to Oxnard for 2 days for their Spring Break. We rented a beautiful 3 bedroom home right on the beach. Aanika and Jatin had their suite and rooms downstairs with the pingpong table. Out master bedroom, beach views, kitchen, living room and balcony were upstairs. We brought food in each evening and spent the day out. Billy and Brownie were able to come with us as well. Mommy and Daddy joined us for a quick pizza lunch at toppers and ice cream back at the place. Both nights we watched stand up comedy. Seinfeld one night and Sebastian Maniscalco the other. We also took the kids to Golf and Stuff and Seabridge for coffees, park time and a walk along the marina. My favorite part of the trip was when Jatin and Aanika hung out at home while Nick and I snuck off for a 40 minute walk between the side alleys of the beach homes. May 2018

There was a lot of fun events in May this year. I decided to bundle up a few of my favorite pictures and videos and will document them in one post rather than separate ones!

First: My darling Daddy turned 75!! To celebrate Neeru joined us in LA for a quick weekend trip and we all had dinner together. Neeru wrote a beautiful set of poems for Daddy while we gave Dad a custom painting I made. Jatin wrote a pretty candid and funny bit about his Nana looking better without hair, but just in case he would provide Nana with a hair piece from his lego collection.

Our lovely doggies continue to be a huge part of our lovely lives. A few favorite pictures from the last month below!

I hosted our first wine and cheese night for the neighborhood families!

A few other notable snaps. Arjun is back (welcome lunch), Gee and Neha visited with cutie pie Brody, Aaniku loves my tub! Jatin worked hard on his biography project (creator of Pokemon). Nick and I got our first Romero Britto from Miami delivered on Mother’s Day. Aanika went with her class to Moorpark Zoo for a field trip!

Memorial Day Weekend was nice and low key. Aaniku got her wish and went for a ride with Daddy in the Jeep! Jatin and Mark had fun playing with the slow motion camera.

Billy and Brownie have been getting to know each other better. Brownie is a total gentle giant and is so good about playing with Billy. Billy is fiesty and tries with all his might to play like a “big boy” with Brownie! It’s pretty hilarious to watch. He even tries to drink and eat out of Brownies giant bowls. Some of my favorite play snapshots below.

Brownie 5 Months Old

Beautiful Brownie is 5 months old. We cannot imagine our home without her and she’s added so much to this playful house. She is gentle, quiet and such a lovely companion for us all. She gets her exercise first thing in the morning by going running with Nick who recently discovered that she LOVES trails! Happy 5 months Brownie. We love you.

Brownie 4 Months Old

Brownie is growing so quickly that even those of us who live with her can see the difference every day. It’s amazing!!! She’s gorgeous and is such a cutie pie. She has mastered the art of ringing the front door bell for potty and goes for 30 minute runs with Nick every morning. She also comes into the office with me and is an honorary Spinner! Her ears have officially got the pointy look now and are like little radars moving all over the place as she listens to her surroundings. She still lets me brush her teeth regularly and love her frozen coconut oil drops.

Brownie has been part of our family 1 month now. She is such a cutie pie, has a sweet disposition and has been such a lovely addition to our family.

Here are some snapshots taken as she turns 3 months old! She’s growing so quickly so we’ll try and document each month to reminisce on later. Enjoy!

Welcome home our gorgeous new cutie pie Brownie. She is 11 weeks old! We brought her home today from a rescue shelter. She is a German Shepherd Husky Mix. She’s gorgeous, and a sweet little puppy! So excited to have her home. YEAH!!!!
