Summer Vacation 2025

Jatin, Nick and I had a lovely trip up north for our usual California Xtreme video game hangout and family time! We broke up the journey by staying in Pismo Beach on Thursday night. We spent the day at the beach and dinner followed by some pool in the evening. We also went to see the rocks where hundreds of birds live. Beautiful and smelly!!! I love Pismo Beach. Can’t wait to get back out there.

We had matching jackets made for the boys to wear with the SlikkNikk brand and a custom sweater made for me 🙂 Jatin officially “debuted” as Slikk-J rather than SlikkNikk Junior 🙂 The boys also were trying to figure out a “sign” for “SlikkMob” which lead us laughing a lot 🙂 We had a lot of fun joking about that throughout the trip! read more

COVID-19 Weeks 3-5

Everything is starting to blur together. We are all adjusting to love under quarantine and the initial shock has worn off. Certain realities have set in like Nick looks great with huge fluffy hair, Jatin looks great with blue hair, Aanika continues to live her best life and I am doing my best to keep meals on the table and some fun throughout the house.

Nick was a champ and gave Jatin an awesome haircut in the garage!

The dogs are absolutely loving having us home all the time.

Jatin is a great sport and let me put blue gel in his hair. Ended up loving it!

Aanika’s version of pe is to jump into her brothers back while doing push-ups.

We’ve all been enjoying backyard time.

We’ve been playing a lot of piano and creating some new art.

Overall we are loving slowing down a bit. Everyone is getting a bit bored at times and of course missing seeing all our friends and family but it’s also been so nice to spend so much time together and figure out new ways to keep the house fun and active. We are blessed.

LA Hangout 2020

We hosted some of our arcade friends for a LA arcade hangout dinner and sleepover. Friday was hosted by another couple Gabby and James and Saturday was at our place. Our friend Kris worked with me on a surprise marquee sign for Nick as a thank you for hosting gift. The Pong tournament was a huge hit and we enjoyed our garden and nicks deejay tunes throughout the night! A big thanks to mommy and daddy for being the best nana and Nani around and taking the kiddos for the weekend!
