Everything was a little simpler and quieter this year but we still enjoyed the festivities. On Diwali we did a small Pooja at home and then Nick, Jatin and I headed to to the strangers thing drive through experience.

We’ve been enjoying our usual scrabble, Monopoly deal and cover your assets game nights, and Aanika had started to join us in the front room while we play while on her iPad or coloring with the occasional dance breakout.

We even experienced the election of our lifetime with CNN playing non stop while we played. Trump vs Biden. And the true hero of the week was CNN’s amazing announcer John King!!

We decorated the house early this year. Why not add a little extra cheer early. We can all use it! Rainbow tree to match our very colorful Paintings.

For Thanksgiving we spent the morning with Mommy and Daddy for a lovely brunch and chatted with Neeru and family over WhatsApp. You’ll see Neeru and I sporting our awesome matching blue neck masks 😷

In the afternoon the Gundara family joined us for Thanksgiving evening. Ordered Indian food from Village Tandoor and played games.

We are blessed and grateful to have each other. I hope this time next year we can all celebrate in full fashion and all together again. ❤️
