Tina and Gurshawn’s Wedding
Another family wedding in the books! This last week we attended Tina & Gurshawn’s Wedding. The festivities started on Saturday night with a Sangeet at home, followed by a Bridal Shower on Sunday. Tuesday was the Mehendi, and then Friday early morning we headed to Santa Barbara for the wedding followed by the reception on Saturday. The whole family was there. Outside of the wedding festivities it was a lot of fun to have some down time with the Gundara crew. We enjoyed a day out and about in Santa Barbara for an educational session from Jatin and Brody about “alpha” generation’s crazy language. We learned about Mewing, Alpha vs. Sigma, Plus Aura, Rizz and Skibbiddi. It sparked a hilarious group chat! Since Amrita was in town the whole week she brought the boys over a few times for some Pickleball at the house which was awesome! The entire week was tiring but FUN!
Puneet’s Wedding To Dominic 2023
We had an amazing week right after Christmas celebrating the wedding of Puneet to Dominic. Lot’s of dancing, partying, dressing up and catching up with family. Highlights below starting with the Sangeet.
Jatin got to spend half the week at his Dadiji’s house and embarked in all kinds of Shenanigans with Aakash, Kirat and Kadam who were visiting from England for the wedding! The craziest thing was them jumping into a freezing cold pool in the middle of winter!! TEENAGERS!! We also hosted the family over for a hangout, casual dinner. Amrita and I took Kirat and Aki for their first manicure and pedicures ever 🙂 Jatin performed one of his original pieces on piano for the family as our after dinner entertainment and the kids enjoyed the arcade. Aanika of course LOVED having the family and most of all her precious Amrita Bua over for a visit.
May 2023 – Weddings, Pickle-ball and More!
May was busy busy busy but fun! We had 2 full weekends celebrating Rishi and Lisa’s wedding with all the family! Mommy and daddy hosted the family on Friday night and we enjoyed celebrating Islas 4th birthday and then on Saturday we hosted the Krishnan’s for brunch at the before the evening party. We played pickleball after some mimosas and bagels 🙂 It was fun!!!
That evening we celebrated Lisa and Rishi’s upcoming wedding at Urth in Culver City hosted by Sheila Masi.
The following weekend Daddy, Mommy and I drove to Lake Arrowhead for the wedding ceremony. Neera and I danced the night away as usual and we celebrated Mother’s Day with mommy and daddy before heading home.
20th Wedding Anniversary 2023
Nick and I celebrated 20 years married this year! Thank goodness Aanika was feeling well enough that we were able to get away to Vegas for a few days to celebrate together. We stayed at our favorite wrap around suite at the Cosmopolitan with Bellagio Fountain views.
We enjoyed cocktails at the beautiful Parasol Bar at Wynn followed by dinner at Casa Playa. The decorations and lit trees in Wynn were so beautiful that I told Nick that we can make that the theme of our backyard someday when Jatin gets married 🙂
Nisha and Alex’s Wedding
Nisha and Alex tied the knot in a beautiful and intimate wedding ceremony held at Anand Uncle and Kalpana Aunties home over 4th of July weekend. Mommy and Masi lit up the entire event with the stunning floral arrangement’s.
Amrit and Sheena’s Wedding
Amrit Nat and Sheena got married in beautiful Huntington Beach in June! The family gathered for the Vatna/Mehendi and Sangeet a few weeks prior to the big day and then we all had a mini getaway to the wedding. Everything was beautiful and the family all looked gorgeous!!
Atlanta – Sammy and Tithi’s Wedding
The girl cousins/sisters flew to Atlanta for a whirlwind weekend to celebrate the wedding of Sammy and Tithi! it was a 2 day event. Day 1 was the mehendi followed by an evening Sangeet. On Sunday we joined the family for the morning wedding and an evening reception.

Vegas 16 Year Wedding Anniversary
Spent a few days out in Vegas to celebrate our 16 year anniversary. Stayed in our favorite Cosmopolitan suite with a view of the gorgeous Bellagio fountains. Watched the MJ live show at the stratosphere. Beautiful, relaxing few days.
Ate: Pizza in the room. Watched: Eddie Murphy delirious and Netflix You.

India 2018 – part 5 – The Reception
Arjun and Isha’s Reception.
Had the pleasure of getting ready wish Isha darling for the reception so we got to hang out a bit before the party started. Wore my engagement lengha for the first time in 16 years!! Party was stunning. Felt like the Bellagio was transported into Punjab. Every part of the world was represented in amazing cuisine and the service was uhhhmazzing. Basically it felt like we were movie stars all night.
