Mother’s Day 2024

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Mama! We celebrated with the family with brunch at Gus’s BBQ. The best part was just a few days afterwards we headed to Portland together for Arjun & Aayami’s Wedding. That was a lovely way to celebrate Mother’s Day together. Love you mommy. You are my inspiration, my strength and best friend. You’re an amazing role model and I am so lucky to have you right down the road. Happy Mother’s Day.

Manita and Teo’s Wedding

First wedding of the year! Manita and Teo had a beautiful wedding her in LA. In true Indian fashion it was a week long event starting on Sunday with the Bridal Shower, followed by the Mehendi, Sangeet, then a morning Sikh Wedding in Porter Valley Country Club followed by an intimate evening garden ceremony and then a lovely wedding reception the following Saturday. Ton’s of parties, celebrations, dancing and food to celebrate the lovely couple.

Main Event – Ft. Lauderdale 2024

Nick won his 9th Main Event with One Main in 2023. To celebrate the company sent us to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a 3 day event to honor the 200 employees out of 9,000 who made the cut! We stayed at the HardRock Guitar Hotel. It was absolutely lovely and as usual we extended our stay by an extra day to make the most of the trip!

We arrived a day ahead of schedule but most of Saturday was spent traveling. On Sunday we enjoyed a lovely brunch at RISE *excellent Orange Juice, followed by registration and then a relaxing afternoon by the pool sipping Pina Coladas. That evening we freshened up and headed to the welcome reception garden party hosted poolside at the hotel. 2 of Nick’s managers made the trip as well (Brenda & Ish, Randy & Theresa) read more

May 2023 – Jatin is Drum Major

Jatin had his end of year band banquet that was Tropical themed this year. He looked lovely and officially enters the role of Drum Major! I also attend the local carnival concert where the whole band performed a 30 minute set. We’re so proud of him!!

May 2023 – Universal Studios

Nick and I joined Brody, Gee, Neha and Brody’s friend Aubrey for a day at universal studios and the new Nintendo world to celebrate Brody’s Birthday! We learned that Brody loves John Cena – the worlds strongest man and that he doesn’t love roller coasters – much like his big brother Jatin. Bowsers lair is amazing when in line for the Mario kart ride! Welcome New Year! May you bless us and our loved ones with good health, simple, fun moments of love and laughter, happiness, joy, personal growth and success.

We had a lovely day trip to Bakersfield. Got stuck in terrible weather and they closed the 5 coming back but it was still a fun get away with Jatin. Pritpal showed us around and we enjoyed the change of pace.

Jatin has been working hard on his maps using his new gear he got for Christmas.

As with every new year we’ve been sprucing up the place. It’s looking beautiful 🙂 read more

November 2021

Mom and Dad hosted Thanksgiving Brunch this year and in the evening we had a quiet family Italian dinner at home. Even Billy and Brownie enjoyed some good food!

Aanika and I enjoyed our new table that Nick got for us for arts and crafts.

We took a trip to Palm Springs for 2 days to rest and relax a bit! Thanks to our lovely Nani for watching Aanika and Jatin! We had the best grilled cheese and pizza at this place called Dringk.

Been visiting family. Saw Aunty and Uncle for lunch one day, and the boys had a 2 day sleepover and I got to see Sheila Masi before she headed back up north. Aanika absolutely loved Amrita’s Doggies, Ice and Bear! read more

October Fun 2021

October is always a busy month given that both Jatin and I celebrate our birthdays just a week apart from Aanikas and of course there’s always everything that comes with Halloween! But in between all the craziness of those major milestones I love to capture more of those candid moments that sometimes get forgotten in the big scheme of October!
