Our Gorgeous, Funny, Smart, Inquisitive little baby boy turned 10 this year! It’s hard to imagine that 10 years have already passed. They went too quickly but we’re trying to enjoy and soak up every moment! I was so excited when Jatin said he would like to have a Halloween/Costume Party to celebrate 10! We all know how much I LOVE costume parties. The actual day of his birthday Nick and I surprised him and pulled him out of school for a surprise day to Universal Studios / Harry Potter World. He was nervous at first, but ended up loving it! Devi took AMAZING pictures of his birthday bash. Some of my favorites included below. Love you kiddo!! Aanika’s 5th Birthday
Our beautiful baby girl turned 5 this year! Hard to believe! We played hooky with her from school on the day of her birthday and treated her to pancakes and a chocolate chip cookie at the Corner Bakery followed by a visit to Toys R Us where she surveyed the entire store and went home with a rainbow giant panda bear 🙂 The weekend of her birthday we had our family and friends over for a garden tea party and brought in the amazing Mr. B to host an hour drum and music circle program with all the kids. Theme / Rainbows & Music. Happy Birthday Cutie Pie!!!

Kartik & Zita’s Wedding
Wedding Weekend officially kicked off for Kartik & Zita at Mani Masi and Prabhu Uncles AMAZING new home. The flowers for the next day were everywhere, great food and lovely company made the evening spectacular. As you can see little Ms. Aanika was completely exhausted from all the running around she did that she went to sleep the second we got back to the hotel. Nick and Jatin hung out for a bit in their pajamas and enjoyed some more fun time that evening before retiring.
The wedding day was spectacular. We started the morning by celebrating Daddy’s Birthday at the Grill on the resort’s property. Then all of us girls got our hair done, makeup on, ties were tied, curls were pinned, dresses were slipped on and it was time for the big event! It was chilly, and there was a rainy overcast above (which actually made for the most perfect outdoor lighting possible!). Kartik and Zita recited their own vows which were both funny and heartfelt. The best part was we managed to get Aanika, Jatin and Naya to walk down the isle together hand in hand!!! SCORE! Nick was the genius who stashed fruity tic tac’s in his pocket and enticed each child with tic tacs before and after the whole shindig went down.
Halloween Party 2015
I finally got to host an adults only Halloween Party this year! YEAH!!! It was FUN! Everyone came in amazing costumes and strutted their stuff on the dance floor. Tacos by Martin, Photography by Epic Vision Studios, Drinks by Michelle, Music by Sunil and more! Aanika and Jatin joined the party for the first hour or so and then retired for inside for the evening. Some amazing outdoor photo booth pictures included below!
Jatin’s 6th & Aanika’s 2nd Birthday Party!
Well another year has passed and we are blessed with our lovely babies turning another year older! Jatin turned 6 and Aanika 2. Since they are still young enough to share a birthday party that’s exactly what we did since we had so much fun last year! This year we went back to the basics. Traditional party games like Freeze Dance & Hot Potato were played and chocolate cake was served! It was hot outside but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves! Aanika had a lovely time playing with all the kids and took a special fondness to Joseph the other younger sibling in attendance. We were lucky to have some out of town Nana, Nani’s and Mamajis visiting as well! The party was fantastic. The kids stayed in the jumper until the last possible minute. Happy 2nd & 6th Birthday Kiddos! We love every part of you!
Yuvi and Harleens Wedding
Yuvi and Harleen got married over the 4th of July weekend! It was a week long extravaganza with each event more opulent and beautiful than the other. A few highlights were: the delicious fresh coconut water, breakfast in the garden before the wedding, RDB performing at the reception live and just a lovely time hanging out with the entire family! Gingerbread City Fun 2012
This year we had an absolutely messy, fantastic, sticky, sugar filled party with Neera Masi in town to decorate our yearly Gingerbread City! Jatin was much more hands on this year and as a result the city turned out whimsical and the kitchen turned out even messier than the year before 😉 While we had fun making a frosty mess, Aanika bonded with her Nikki Uncle. Afterwards the grown ups headed out for a dinner only to discover both Nick and Nikki sporting superhero shirts (just in case 😉
Aakash’s 5th Birthday
We had a lovely trip to San Diego to celebrate Aakash’s 5th Birthday! He celebrated in style at the Science Museum in Balboa Park. Jatin had a blast looking at all the science stations, making goo, playing with Dry Ice and visiting the grossonomy center to see where farts come from!
