Jatin’s 18th Birthday

Jatin’s 18th birthday fell on a weekend so he took the train home from school for the weekend! We had Mommy and Daddy over for our tradition of cake and gifts and had a low key celebration as this little baby of ours is officially an adult! We are so proud of him and all he’s accomplished so far. Most of all he’s a kind and caring human which make’s our hearts happy and bursting with pride. Love you son! Jatin’s High School Graduation

Our kiddo has graduated from Chatsworth Charter High School from the Magnet Program. He worked so hard throughout his grade school years, even during virtual covid school! We are so proud of him and excited to see what he accomplishes next. We hosted a Graduation Party for him the Saturday just before graduation *which fell on a Monday evening. Neera, Nikki, Naya, Naveen, Mommy and Daddy joined us for photos at the house before the ceremony. Aanika and this kiddos stayed home while we attended the ceremony. The most fun part of the day was after the ceremony running after Jatin for an hour through the crowds and just watching the pure joy and excitement on all his friends and families faces. Pure love, nostalgia, and open hearts knowing that this chapter has ended but new adventures are coming. Congratulations Jatin!! We love you! read more

Jatin’s Final HS Marching Band Season 2024

Jatin has had a fun but extremely busy fall semester. Between college applications, school work and marching band his schedule has been nuts but it was all worth it! Mommy *Nani joined me to watch and cheer him on for his final High School Marching Band Competition hosted by LAUSD Beyond the Bell at Pierce College. He did such a fantastic job conducting and his team took home 1st place in their division!

Jatin also participated in his holiday winter concert and the Chatsworth Holiday Parade! We are so proud of this 17 year old baby of ours. Now we just want him to rest up over Christmas break and get ready for an amazing second semester and some positive acceptances from all the universities he’s applying to! read more

Jatin’s 17th Birthday 2024

Hard to believe Jatin turned 17 this year! We are so proud of Jatin. He recently got his license permit and is on his way to learning to drive, he’s applying to colleges *some California and just as menu outside of California! He’s drum major in his senior year, an officer in Model UN and a wonderful, kind, friendly, warm human being. We are so proud of him. He celebrated his birthday this year with a hangout at home. It was so much fun to see him and his buddies thoroughly enjoy the house he’s grown up in. Happy Birthday to my beautiful “sonshine” – May all your hopes, dreams and wishes come true in life wherever next year takes you and may you always be protected and stay in google health and happiness. Jatins 16th Birthday!

Hard to believe that our first born beautiful baby turned 16 years old this year! He continues to impress us with his vision, kindness, determination for excellence and love. We are so proud of the young man he’s become and can’t wait to see what’s around the horizon. Happy Birthday Jatin!

Nick was traveling this year on Jatins birthday so we postponed Jatins party with his friends for a few weeks. He had a lovely group of guys over and co-celebrated with twin brothers who also share an October Birthday. read more

Jatins 15th Birthday

Jatin has had a very busy year! He’s been slammed with school work and juggling after school practice for band and his weekends have been consumed with marching band competitions. He continues to excel brilliantly at school so we decided to have some friends over this year to ring in his 15th Birthday.

On the morning of his birthday Jatin enjoyed his yearly breakfast pancakes and a cup of coffee! That evening we took him to Benihana for dinner.

Every once in a while, a game comes along which delivers on this; a game that resonates with our very soul and leaves an indelible impression on our minds and hearts. For me, that game was a 90s role-playing game (RPG) named Chrono Trigger. As 14 year old, I really related to Chrono, the teen boy protagonist with punky red hair who goes on all sorts of wild adventures. read more

Jatin’s First Marching Band Performance

Jatin is officially part of marching band. He’s been working hard and staying late after school everyday practicing. Friday was his first football game where he got to perform at half time. He told Nick and I not to come to the first one but another mommy was kind enough to snap some pics for us!! He had so much fun and we cant wait to see him perform during the home coming game.
