Gilmore Girls WB Tour

Gilmore Girls celebrated their 25th Anniversary this year and in honor of that the studio tour expanded the back-lot to open up more attractions such as Luke’s’ Diner, Trivia Sessions, etc… Nick and Jatin were troopers and attended the very long day of events with me and even waited in an almost 3 hour line to get a photo in the original Luke’s Diner Set. The food overall wasn’t great but the scenes, lights and photo ops were awesome. I loved the light show they did in the evening projecting all the beautiful scenes set to the famous Luke & Lorelai song. Bonus – we got to see the Harry Potter and DC Exhibits on the way out. read more

Jatin’s Final HS Marching Band Season 2024

Jatin has had a fun but extremely busy fall semester. Between college applications, school work and marching band his schedule has been nuts but it was all worth it! Mommy *Nani joined me to watch and cheer him on for his final High School Marching Band Competition hosted by LAUSD Beyond the Bell at Pierce College. He did such a fantastic job conducting and his team took home 1st place in their division!

Jatin also participated in his holiday winter concert and the Chatsworth Holiday Parade! We are so proud of this 17 year old baby of ours. Now we just want him to rest up over Christmas break and get ready for an amazing second semester and some positive acceptances from all the universities he’s applying to! read more

Las Vegas 2024

Enjoyed a much needed few days away in Las Vegas. Cosmopolitan, Bootleggers Bistro, Bellagio Fountain Views, Lot’s of relaxing, a little bit of pickle ball and a mind reader show. Can’t wait until we go back.

Father’s Day 2024

We are feeling especially happy this Father’s Day because Daddy’s *Nana’s surgery was a success and we’re all relieved that he’s on his way to a pain free lifestyle again! Below are a few memories leading up to the day’s of his surgery, Daddy’s 81st birthday, day of and post surgery and then Father’s Day weekend as well.

On Father’s Day for my darling Nick we made waffles for breakfast, relaxed the entire day *as much as possible in a house full of dogs and kiddos ;), and gifted him the custom Pop Doll that truly looks exactly like him! Aanika and Nick went for a lovely drive, and Jatin and Nick hung out in the arcade and worked on upgrading the basketball hoops with a little father son restoration project. Happy Father’s Day to both my beautiful Daddy and my Baby Daddy. Love you both. read more

Thanksgiving 2022

Well November didn’t turn out quite how we had expected. We were supposed to head to Houston for a gaming expo and to meet some friends but the week before Aanika came down with Covid after being exposed at school. Nick was out of town for work so I had to break the news to him that Sunday. By Wednesday I had Covid and by Friday Nick and Jatin were positive as well. Anyhow we cancelled Houston and could not attend the yearly Thanksgiving party at Narindar Aunties home. Instead we celebrated as a family at home…but Thanksgiving with muted taste and lack of smell senses is not quite as fun! Nani made us a delicious sweet potato dish which we need to make again so we can fully enjoy it! We did get out for a hike, and enjoyed some fresh air in our backyard. Regardless we are very grateful for our beautiful family unit and are blessed to have each other. Life is beautiful even with Covid 🙂 read more

Vegas April 2021!

Yessss finally we have our vaccines and my beautiful mom and dad watched our bachas and Nick and I got to get away from home for the first time in over a year! We had a STUNNING corner balcony suite at the cosmopolitan so we enjoyed the room as much as being out and about again. We binge watched Bridgerton on Netflix and enjoyed the beautiful strip views from all angles.

My pizza delivery guy was very cute. Decided to invite him in for dinner and milk shakes 🙂

And on our way back home. So amazing to get away for a few days so we could miss our gorgeous home and family and rest up and refresh! ❤️❤️

New Years Day 2020

Welcome new decade! Hard to believe 2020 is here. We’ve had a year of family growth and leaning and understanding. Here are a few notes I made of the of the things I’m proud of and thankful for:

◦ Jatin is playing jazz sax and piano beautifully

◦ Jatin doing so well in school

◦ My new office is awesome and inspiring

◦ Nana and Nani moved closer to home

◦ I am playing piano again regularly

◦ I have made more time to paint and be artistic

◦ My doggies are the best ever

◦ Proud to be a big sister and masi to Devi and maya

◦ Aanika is swimming like a fish

◦ Nick started YouTube and Instagram channel

◦ Nick is number 1 in his company all year long

We are looking forward to a beautiful and successful year ahead! Onward and upward filled with peace, good health, prosperity, love and light.

Gingerbread House Party 2019

Jatin and I had Devi, Shriya and Geeta Didi over for a gingerbread decorating party today! Mimosas, pastries and lots of candies, homemade royal icing all set to the classic holiday tunes with festive clothing made for a very fun morning! Not to mention Geeta Didi’s singing and the girls amazing talents which I’m sure they have learned from the Great British Baking Show! Aanika and her dad also went for their weekly drive in the Porsche to go see horsies!

Thanksgiving Day 2019 + Billy’s 2nd Birthday

Had a very relaxed Thanksgiving Thursday. Mommy and Daddy joined us for spicy chicken soup lunch and in the evening the 4 of us had chicken pot pies followed by the premier of The Mandalorian by fire on Disney plus. It was also Billy’s 2nd birthday. Since In n out is closed on thanksgiving we treated him and brownie to birthday burgers and fries the next day! Nick also got in some great time with his latest pixel painting.
