I spent a morning running after our darling Aanika and snapped photos along the way to give you an idea of her energy and smiling personality! 2 years old and more daring, adventurous with every day. Here are a few things to know about our lovely baby girl!

Favorite Person: Her little brother Jatin

What she does for fun: Climbing onto tables & exercise machines, hanging from doorways (like a monkey), singing and dancing everywhere, playing with her guitar and piano, saying “hiiii” to anyone who will listen, running and getting into every drawer and cupboard she’s not supposed to! She loves driving her car (backwards only), and throwing around the soccer ball on the court.

Food: Aanika is a petite firecracker. She has a few favorites. Drinkable yogurt that she can pierce with her 2 front teeth and suck out ;). She loves pasta, water, apple juice and anything cheesy. She also enjoys the occasional piece of delicious cake!

Favorite Activity: Bath-time “baba.” Aanika likes to attempt to jump into her bath before she’s even fully undressed. She loves splashing and will manage to get anyone in the bathroom soaked! She’s learning how to brush her teeth so bath-time is always followed by “toothy brushing time.” While she brushes; her mama combs through her gorgeous hair!

Sleepy Time: Aanika is a total ball of energy but when it comes to sleepy time that responsibility falls on her dear daddy. The evening ritual consists of a bit of fighting back and forth between the pair of them and then she cuddles and falls fast asleep on her “dada’s tummy” while watching “Teee.”

Music: Aanika definitely has taken a liking to all things musical. She loves turning on her mama’s keyboard and playing piano to a beat that she jams out on.

We are very blessed to have such a charming, feisty little girl in our house. With her every day is an adventure filled with excitement!
