Christmas 2015. What a lovely holiday season we’ve had. For the first time in a few years we ventured to put up the larger tree back in the living room. For the most part Aanika did pretty well. She did try and kiss and take off all the care bear ornaments throughout the last month, which made for some beautiful pictures!
We had out traditional gingerbread/graham cracker house fest! This year Jatin decorated his chateau all on his own and it turned out fabulous! Mine was a modern whimsical little structure and Aanika and her friends created theirs during their holiday party at home.
We have also had our fair share of absolutely fabulous goofing off. Lot’s of dancing, selfies and trips to the park have made this a year of FUN!
Our lovely ELF Jack Gundara also made his way back home over the holidays and got into all kinds of mischief while he visited!
Christmas Eve has arrived and in our house that’s the evening we get to open up gifts and hang out together in our cozy home in pajamas! We had a lovely steak, mashed potatoes and corn dinner with apple pie for dessert! BB8, Jiji the cat, Knight Rider Books, Gorgeous Wine Colored purses, warm furry blankets and chapsticks all made an appearance in the Gundara house along with a lot more! We had a beautiful evening and the kids got to go to bed with their tummy’s full and their hearts filled with the excitement that Christmas had arrived.
Christmas Morning arrived and we were lucky to host Xmas breakfast at our house. The kiddos opened up gifts and us grown ups got to exchange gifts as well. French Toast Bake, Quiche and Pancakes were served. Basketball and Nana’s bean bag toss was played! Merry Christmas!
Little Miss Giggles Naya and Little Miss Naughty Aanika have started to play in short spurts together quite nicely. A few of my favorite exchange from the weekend so far are included below. You’ll see puzzles being played, wagon rides being given and chapstick being applied. Sister love.
