My sweetheart Nick turned 40 this year! He did not want to celebrate with a huge party so we decided to celebrate on an extended weekend through our trip up north. Below are some highlights from our celebrations. Anyone who knows Nick knows that he’s the first to rise in our house. So we decided to leave a bit of a birthday surprise for him in the kitchen to start his day.

Next we headed over to Santa Monica to enjoy some sunshine and lunch out on the town.

Nick won Jatin a Pokemon in Basketball of course, and we had a lovely Italian Lunch on 3rd Street after walking on the pier.

In the evening we had a quiet dinner at home and a homemade vanilla, banana pudding cake made by yours truly, with party hats and all!

The next day we headed up north for e3 and Naveen’s 1st birthday! Neeru, Nikki and her inlaws were so amazing and planned a gorgeous dinner for Nick at a Greek restaurant in Los Altos.

The following weekend Mommy and Daddy treated Nick and I to a lovely, lavish dinner at Ruth Chris. Overall an amazing birthday for my handsome 40year young husband! Love you!
